Welcome to St. Martin's School in Bridgewater, New Jersey! We're so glad you would like to know more about our school.
St. Martin's School is located on five acres of partially wooded land. Its calm and peaceful surroundings create a perfect setting for Montessori education at its best. We greeted children for the first time on September 5, 2006. However, we already have a history. Four years ago, a group from St. Martin's Episcopal Church had a vision to establish a Montessori school that would serve young children from the community. The School would not only offer a quality Montessori education, but would also provide the optional experience of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd for young children, whose parents would like them to know more about God. After much careful planning, this vision has been fulfilled.
The heart of learning at St. Martin's School lies in its orderly and beautiful primary (preschool, kindergarten) and toddler classrooms where our teachers follow each child from the earliest stages of experimental and independent learning. Our teachers make the difference, one child at a time. We are proud that our faculty includes experienced Montessori teachers in each class.
When a child is admitted to St. Martin's School we are welcoming a family whom we seek to immerse in their own learning while supporting their child through each stage of development. We recognize that our parents are the most important part of a child's education. We would like our parents to always feel a part of St. Martin's School and we offer a variety of ways that parents can become actively involved, if they choose.
